Kids: Unrated DVD Vs. Workprint

Upon it’s release in 1995, Kids was met with heavy controversy, mostly for it’s graphic depictions of drug use and sex. The film was hit with a NC-17 rating, and was cut in Britain. The US releases however was released unrated. However, another cut has been circulating as bootlegs for many years now. This was the original uncut workprint, which is longer than the unrated DVD. This contains a couple of longer scenes and some additional footage. The original VHS tape has received a tremendous amount of damage, as it suffers from severe discoloration and constant flickering. It even cuts out approximately 40 seconds of footage at 1:15:45.
