When aired on FOX, the network had paid $80 million for exclusive broadcasting rights, where they reinserted two deleted scenes. This special version had aired for it’s premiere in November 1st, 1998. The exact same version had re-aired in June 29th of 2008. Both deleted scenes are featured in the DVDs and Blu-rays. However the quality of the deleted scenes featured in the FOX’s airings are higher quality than what is released in the DVDs and Blu-rays, most likely because the DVDs and Blu-rays source the quality from a possibly rough cut or workprint.
