In January 2nd of 2007 at 7:00 pm, an extended cut of Spider-Man 2 had aired on FX. This cut had spliced in never before seen footage before the Extended 2.1 DVD was released in April of that year. This cut also contained a special sneak preview that was exclusive for this channel as well. While some of the footage had made it onto the Extended 2.1 DVD, majority of the footage has not, making some of the footage exclusive to television only.
