In May of 2019, a workprint of the movie was found by the Super Mario Bros Movie Archive. This workprint contains some deleted scenes that were trimmed, many of which had expanded on the storyline. None of the deleted scenes have appeared on the DVD or Blu-ray. The workprint also has an alternate temporary soundtrack, a burnt in timecode, and reel changes. Also, the workprint is missing several visual effects. As a result, several scenes are shown as raw outtake footage, with the actors in front of a blue screen. Quality is very low, as the footage is very dark and hard to watch.

Obviously you are in possession of the workprint to post and publish all of these scenes. I have just completed a full extended restored fan edit of this film clocking in at 1hour 59 mins. It has all the extended workprint footage edited in all open matte in good to excellent picture quality. The only issue i have is that some of the workprint scenes are muted and I need these to complete my edit. Can you please share the workprint with me to complete these and I’ll send you a copy in return. I can also trade you some other stuff. Please help me complete this as it’s 99.9% complete just missing some audio.
